Agroholding Miratorg plans to double the export of products in 2022, however, it does not rule out a reduction in production due to the non-repayment of projects. This was announced to journalists on the sidelines of the SPIEF by Viktor Linnik, President of Miratorg.
"Exports are going according to plan, we planned to export $0.5 billion a year, we are doubling compared to last year. These are beef, pork, poultry - value-added products, we supply more than 50 countries of the world," he said.
At the same time, the head of the company noted that its projects do not pay off due to the fact that the ruble is "overheated." According to his estimates, under the current conditions, production can be reduced by 30-40%. At the same time, if a reduction in production occurs, then the price of products will increase or the volume of imports will increase, Linnik predicts.
He also announced that the company intends to invest 12 billion rubles in expanding capacities in the Bryansk region. The funds will be used to build two large grain drying complexes, expand the poultry project and build six pig farms. Miratorg also plans to launch two projects this year in the Kursk region, including the production of gelatin worth 3.5 billion rubles and the production of heparin, which is organized on a parity basis with Van Hessen Holding B.V. In addition, this year the company is starting construction of a large selection and seed center for the production of corn hybrid breeding, soybean, alfalfa and wheat breeding, Linnik added.
