Miratorg announced the start of modernization in its beef processing unit in the Bryansk region. The plant increased the capacity of packaging and sticker lines. The modernization is associated with an increase in the production of high-quality beef and will increase the throughput of the sites by 50 tonnes per day at the vacuum packaging stage and by 80 at the sticker. The modernization of the complex will take place in stages. At the initial stage, the company invested 176 million rubles ($2.5 million) in equipment upgrades.
The company is implementing a long-term strategy to increase the production of high-quality domestic meat within the framework of a full cycle "from field to counter". 108 farms in the Bryansk, Kaluga, Oryol, Smolensk, Tula and Kaliningrad regions keep 820,000 heads of livestock, and there are three sites for grain feeding. Beef production has become the basis for the launch of new processing lines: a tannery and an enterprise for the production of ready-made culinary dishes.
The holding continues to develop, the immediate prospects are associated with an increase in the number of beef cattle up to 1 million heads over the course of several years at the expense of its own resources, an increase in the depth of processing of meat products and the development of its own logistics infrastructure.
The company systematically invests in advanced production technologies, logistics and quality control at all stages of the production chain. The agricultural holding raises cattle on its own natural feed without the use of genetically modified additives and growth stimulants, and unique processing technologies guarantee the consumer a wide range of tasty and healthy meat. The meat processing complex has the highest level of automation and organization of production processes, sanitary and hygienic safety. This allows us to ensure long shelf life of chilled meat products at the level of the world leaders in meat processing - the USA, Australia and Argentina. Now Miratorg's beef keeps its freshness chilled for up to 110 days. No one in Russia does this on such a scale.
The plant is certified in accordance with international food safety quality standards - HACCP, ISO, has a Halal certificate. The enterprise is certified for deliveries to foreign markets, and also regularly undergoes audits by the regulatory authorities of both Russian and foreign retail chains, existing and potential consumers of meat products.
