On June 17, the first meeting of representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the General Directorate of the Specialized Inspectorate of Mongolia took place in Moscow. The talks became the first item of the program for Mongolian specialists who came to Russia to inspect poultry farms. As part of its mission, the delegation will evaluate the work of four companies in the Stavropol Territory and the Tambov Region, interested in exporting their products to Mongolia.

The General Directorate of Specialized Inspectorate reported that Mongolia is currently purchasing poultry meat in Southeast Asia, Turkey, Brazil and the USA. However, due to the geographical features that allow building convenient logistics, as well as taking into account the high level of safety and quality, Russian products can be in great demand and be competitive in the domestic market of Mongolia. In addition to poultry products, Mongolia is also interested in importing animal feed from Russia.

Rosselkhoznadzor thanked the Mongolian representatives for the visit, stressing that it highly it appreciates the established trusting relationship between the services and expects that they will contribute to the development of trade between the countries.
