According to Filimonov, now meat processing enterprises located near Moscow supply products to 90 countries, and poultry meat is one of the main export items. Three more Middle East destinations will soon open for its producers. He noted that Saudi Arabia would be a particularly promising market. Last year, the volume of trade with this country of the Persian Gulf in monetary terms amounted to about $78 million. Cooperation intensified after the opening of the North-South international transport corridor.

In addition to the markets of the Middle East, meat processing enterprises of the Moscow region plan to supply finished products to Armenia.
