World meat industry news

 The departmental publication of Rosselkhoznadzor “Veterinary and Life” published a rating of the largest chicken meat producers, compiled by experts from the National Union of Poultry Farmers (NSP) based on the results of 2023.

The first position was taken by the group of agricultural enterprises “Resource” of Viktor Nauruzov with a production volume of 1.045 million tons of broiler meat in live weight. In second place is the Cherkizovo group of the Mikhailov family (986 thousand tons). The top three industry leaders are closed by the Prioskolye company (451 thousand tons), which is controlled by the former Deputy Prime Minister of the Belgorod Region government Gennady Bobritsky.

They are followed by the Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev (424 thousand tons), the Belgrankorm company (283 thousand tons) and the Severnaya poultry farm (262 thousand tons). The production volumes of the remaining major players in the broiler poultry market from the TOP 10 do not exceed 200 thousand tons.

According to the NSP, the 25 companies included in the 2023 rating produced a total of 5.9 million tons of chicken meat in live weight.
