Over the past month, 34% of Russians noticed an increase in prices for meat and poultry, a survey conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation showed. The number of Russians who note an increase in prices for this product decreased by 2% over the week.
An increase in prices for milk and dairy products was noted by 24% of Russians. This is also 2% lower than a week earlier. According to 16% of the country's inhabitants, the price of eggs has risen. A week earlier, 19% of Russians noted an increase in prices for this product.
Every fourth Russian has announced an increase in prices for fish and seafood. Over the week, the number of residents of the country, noting the rise in prices for these goods, decreased by 4%.
Nearly half of Russians (46%) said they thought prices had risen faster over the past month than before. Another 29% of respondents believe that prices over the past month have grown in the same way as before. A slowdown in price growth was noticed by 4% of survey participants. According to 9% of respondents, prices have not changed. No one has announced a price cut.
According to almost half of the survey participants (45%), prices will continue to grow at the same pace as before in the next month. 25% of respondents predict an acceleration in price growth. Slowdown expects 6% of Russians. Another 8% believe that prices will not change. Price reduction is predicted by 2% of respondents.
