2294 veterinary drugs are registered in Russia, 62% of them are domestically produced, 38% are imported. This was reported in a video dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Rosselkhoznadzor.
In 2023, 19.3 million doses of animal vaccines were produced in the Russian Federation. This is 3 million doses more than in 2022, when domestic manufacturers produced 16.4 million doses.
Rosselkhoznadzor recommends checking information about purchased veterinary drugs with data on the agency’s website. The website contains information about imported consignments. “This way, you will definitely buy legal products for your pet,” the video notes.
