Officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Primorsky Territory and the Sakhalin Oblast revealed a violation of the Unified Veterinary and Sanitary Requirements in a large batch of frozen beef from Argentina. More than 27 tons of beef will be returned to Argentina.
When conducting documentary and physical control of supervised products (frozen beef (quarters) with a total weight of 27,073 kg) at the temporary storage warehouse in Vladivostok, state inspectors of the Territorial Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor found that production dates on the labels of the boxes do not correspond to the dates specified in the veterinary certificate .
This is a violation of the unified procedure for veterinary control (supervision) at the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union and on the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
On the basis of the EAEU legislation in the field of veterinary medicine, on 10 July, the Directorate of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Primorsky Territory and the Sakhalin Region made a decision to return the controlled products to Argentina.
