The Rostov enterprise “New Duck Farms” (Millerovsky district) for the production of duck meat (part of the Damate Group of Companies) received permission to export products to China. Thus, the company was the first in Russia to receive the right to supply duck meat and offal to China.

Let us remind you that since 2020, the project to restart turkey and duck meat production facilities located in the Rostov region is being implemented by the Damate group of companies. The production process at the enterprise in the Rostov region uses hatching eggs from the highly productive cross of white Peking duck Cherry Valley.

According to the company, over the past year, the increase in duck meat production at the New Duck Farms enterprise amounted to 65% - up to 17.9 thousand tons in slaughter weight, or 24.5 thousand tons in live weight in 2022.

“The Damate group of companies, in accordance with agreements with the regional government, has carried out a phased commissioning of all capacities for the production of turkey and duck meat and is now increasing production, processing and export volumes,” commented Deputy Governor - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov Region Konstantin Rachalovsky . – Now we see an increase in exports of not only cereals and oilseeds, but also other agricultural products, which include duck and turkey products. Over nine months, the volume of exports of other agricultural products in physical terms is 29% more than for the same period in 2022.”

Recently, the Main Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China issued a permit for the right to export Don Peking duck meat to China. Before the audit, a lot of work was done to submit and analyze applications in the Chinese company registration information system CIFER. Chinese specialists inspected the production facilities of the duck production complex, studied the technological processes and operation of the enterprise, and checked the compliance of the documentation with all the requirements of the People's Republic of China.

“Thanks to the competent organization of production, the company successfully passed certification and confirmed the high quality and safety of the products, as well as compliance with all the requirements of a foreign country,” notes the management of the manufacturing company. The company will soon be able to begin supplying duck products and is already finalizing the range and starting negotiations with Chinese partners.”

Let us remind you that the company began exporting duck meat from a Rostov enterprise in 2021. The first batch was shipped to the United Arab Emirates. Today, the company supplies duck meat to neighboring countries, African countries, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
