This week, wholesale prices for a broiler carcass fell by one percent to one hundred and thirty-two rubles per kilogram. They correspond to the prices of the end of February of the current year. Vedomosti writes about this, citing price monitoring data from the AD Libitum analytical agency, which was created with the participation of the NSP, NSS, and IKAR. According to the authors of the monitoring, the broiler carcass is so cheap, because there is no shortage of this type of meat, and the demand for it is moderate. Prices for it have been falling since mid-October 2022. Experts expect the trend to continue until the new year.

During the period from January to November 2022, poultry production in Russia increased to 5.9 million tons (+5.4%). Growth in production puts pressure on prices. In addition, pork production is growing in the country (4.7 million tons in live weight; + 7.4%).

As previously reported, American Pringles chips are gradually disappearing from the shelves in the Russian Federation. They are no longer in the assortment of Magnit, their stocks are coming to an end in the Verny and Lenta supermarket chains. Retailers are going to replace well-known brand chips with imported and domestic products.
