The new enterprise in the Moscow region will produce casings for meat products. The opening of the plant in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky urban district was announced in the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The head of the department, Vladislav Murashov, said that the manufactured products will replace foreign analogues. According to Murashov, the Moscow region enterprise can become one of the largest Russian producers of natural casings for sausages, wieners and sausages.
The capacity of the plant can be up to 60 tons of pork raw materials per month. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food explained that the raw material for the natural casing is undergoing post-treatment and conservation. Such a casing is the most popular and versatile for meat products. Products in a natural casing can be processed in various ways without removing meat products from the packaging: for example, marinate, smoke and grill.
