The press service of the central office of the Rosselkhoznadzor announces a ban on the import of breeding material and other types of poultry products from three administrative territories of France.
Temporary restrictions on the import and transit of live birds, hatching eggs, feed, feed additives and used equipment were introduced from November 2 due to the worsening of the epizootic situation with highly pathogenic avian influenza in the departments of Côtes-d'Armor (Brittany region), Loire (Region Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes), Seine and Marne (Ile-de-France region).
The decree, published on the Rosselkhoznadzor website, lists 29 French breeders who have the right to supply hatching eggs and day old chicks to Russian poultry farms. The restrictions are in effect until further notice from the federal government.
