Rosselkhoznadzor has published an up-to-date list of companies that supply hatching eggs and day-old chicks from Brazil to the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the department.

The list of companies was obtained from the competent authorities of Brazil. The country's veterinary service assured that all products of these enterprises meet the requirements of the EAEU.

In total, there are 86 companies on the list, including 10 hatcheries.

Recall that earlier FAO experts predicted an increase in meat exports from this country in 2022. In particular, the supply of poultry meat is expected to increase against the backdrop of the current economic crisis. According to analysts of the Brazilian corporate investment bank Itaú BBA, the situation in Ukraine will lead to a decrease in the supply of products from this country, which means that there is reason to believe that demand may be reoriented to the Brazilian market.
