From April 17 to April 27, a Rosselkhoznadzor delegation visited a number of enterprises in Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina producing immunobiological and pharmacological preparations for veterinary use.Rosselkhoznadzor visited manufacturers of veterinary drugs in Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina

The delegation included representatives of the central office of the Service, as well as the All-Russian State Center for the Quality and Standardization of Medicines for Animals and Feed (FGBU VGNKI) and the Federal Center for Animal Health (FGBI ARRIAH).

During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the largest associations that unite manufacturers of veterinary drugs in Brazil, as well as individual supplier companies interested in supplies to the Russian market, who were provided with information on the procedure for registering drugs and GMP inspection of production sites.

Also, tools for scientific and technical cooperation in the field of developing tools for diagnosing and preventing diseases of terrestrial and aquatic animals were worked out. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue between the competent services and specialized research institutes to finalize the priority areas of interaction.

One of the instruments of cooperation under consideration is the protocol being prepared for signing between the scientific unit for fisheries and aquaculture of the Brazilian Research Agricultural Corporation, FGBI VGNKI and FGBI ARRIAH.

In addition, during the visit, FGBI ARRIAH and one of the Brazilian companies signed a memorandum on scientific and technical cooperation, agreed to develop a roadmap indicating the timing of the promotion of the Center's products in Brazil and Uruguay, as well as joint participation in the Expo Veterinarias exhibition, which is scheduled to be held on July 1-2, 2023 in Buenos Aires.

Also, as part of the visit to these countries, negotiations were held with representatives of the National Service for Animal Health and Quality of Agricultural Products of the Argentine Republic on issues of mutual access to products of animal origin and veterinary drugs.
