As reported in Rosselkhoznadzor, a high-ranking delegation of the Veterinary Organization (IVO) of Iran is currently in the Russian Federation, studying the Russian system of veterinary control in the production and export of livestock products.
The specialists have already visited the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor, where they not only got acquainted with the work of scientific and production laboratories and the information and analytical center, but also discussed the prospects for trade in regulated products. In particular, they talked about the epizootic situation in Russia, Iran and neighboring countries.
Representatives of both countries agreed to expand scientific cooperation and continue registration and supply of veterinary drugs to the Iranian market.
During this week, Iranian colleagues will also visit a number of Russian enterprises for the production of livestock products and one of the laboratories in which a full range of research is carried out on food products intended for export, including to Iran.
Iran is one of the major buyers of Russian wheat. At the same time, the potential of both countries in trade in livestock products has not yet been fully realized.
