Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor banned the import of poultry meat and meat products from the Warmia-Masuria province in northeast Poland, where authorities recorded an outbreak of bird flu.

We introduce export restrictions from February 7 due to the complicated epizootic situation in Poland because of the highly pathogenic bird flu, stated the agency's representatives.

According to the Rosselkhoznadzor, Poland recognized four more regions as dangerous. The ban also includes the imports of animal feed and equipment for chicken breeding, slaughtering, and butchering.
