From the beginning of this year to December 23, Russia exported 913 tons of lamb, which is five times more than in 2021, the Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
The department added that foreign supplies of poultry meat increased by 24%. Russian producers sent 336.6 thousand tons of poultry meat to foreign markets. The supply of pork increased by 18%, 145.9 thousand tons of this meat was sent to foreign markets. Beef supplies increased by 9% (up to 33.5 thousand tons). The volume of exports of finished meat products increased by 4% (up to 76.4 thousand tons).
In general, the export of meat products, as of December 23, increased by 13% compared to 2021.
Representatives of the service noted that in 2022 the Rosselkhoznadzor opened 39 countries for the export of Russian livestock products. In total, more than 90 states are open for the supply of domestic livestock products.
