In 2020, Russia exported 79.4 million tons of agricultural products for a total of $ 30.7 billion. This is stated in the statistics of the federal center “Agroexport” of the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to RBC, these indicators became a record in the country’s recent history – in 2018, when the previous record was recorded, Russia exported 78.5 million tons of products worth $ 25.8 billion.

Agroexport notes that in 2020 Russian products were exported to 150 countries. China remains the largest importer (13% of all supplies). The second and third places are taken by Turkey (10%) and Kazakhstan (almost 7%).

The main share of exports is grain. In 2020, it accounted for 33% of all food and agricultural supplies.

The fastest growing meat exports last year – by 53% (up to 525 thousand tons, 887 million dollars).

The federal project “Export of agricultural products” provides that in 2021 Russia will export goods worth 26 billion rubles.
