Russia fully provides itself with poultry products and is actively developing international markets. For 8 months of 2022, exports increased by 33%. Some of the leading buyers are China, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This is reported by Rosselkhoznadzor.

The Rosselkhoznadzor calls on all participants in the industrial circulation of poultry products and owners of household plots to comply with biosafety rules and be attentive to the threat posed by avian influenza.

The carriers of the dangerous virus are wild waterfowl, whose numerous migration routes pass through the territory of Russia.

“Do not allow contact between poultry and wild birds! Protect your enterprises and farms from the penetration of the virus with feed, water, bedding, rodents, vehicles and personnel!”, recommends the agency.
