From January 15, 2024, Russia lifted restrictions on the import of livestock products from Kazakhstan following December negotiations between the Ministers of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev and Aidarbek Saparov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

The information was confirmed by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance. “From January 15, Rosselkhoznadzor lifted temporary restrictions on the import of animals intended for slaughter and all livestock products obtained from animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease from five zones of Kazakhstan that have the official OIE status of freedom from foot-and-mouth disease with vaccination,” the department reported.

Now you can export beef, lamb, pork, meat products, milk and dairy products to Russia.

In January 2022, Rosselkhoznadzor introduced a ban on the import of animals and livestock products from Kazakhstan due to foot-and-mouth disease.
