Rosselkhoznadzor is planning to hold talks on deliveries of finished meat products, animal feed and skins from Russia to China.

Deliveries of products of animal origin in China were discussed at the Ministry of Agriculture at a meeting of the operational headquarters for the export of meat products to the markets of China, Japan and Korea. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maxim Uvaydov, Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Konstantin Savenkov, Advisor to the Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Artem Daushev, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, industry associations and enterprises engaged in the production of animal origin.

During the meeting, K. Savenkov recalled that Russia has long been planning to export pork to China, but so far no answers have been received from the Chinese side on this issue.

According to him, the Rosselkhoznadzor also plans to establish cooperation with Korea and to achieve the possibility of exporting meat and meat products to this country. But first, it is necessary to achieve recognition by the Korean side of the regionalization of the Russian Federation on animal diseases.
