Russian poultry producers began exporting their products to China in the spring of 2019. However,  only chicken legs and wings were sold to Chenese market. Now Russian producers have managed to expand the assortment and to increase volumes of poultry meat exporting to China.

On November 5, China International Import Expo (CIIE), an importer exhibition, opened in China. During the event, the Russian company Cherkizovo was able to agree to expand sales in the Chinese market.

New contracts for the export of poultry products will significantly expand the range of products exported to the PRC. says Cherkizovo. In trade deals, new positions are indicated: chicken breast, drumsticks, broiler thighs and other parts of poultry meat. In addition, the Russian manufacturer will be able to supply chicken semi-finished products for large Chinese retailers and to owners of HoReCa sector chains. The total amount of trade transactions concluded between Cherkizovo Group and Chinese importers of poultry meat is 20,000,000 US dollars.
