The Russian authorities are going to lift restrictions on air traffic with dozens of countries, RIA Novosti reports. According to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the corresponding decision will come into force on April 9.
Restrictions, he recalled, were introduced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. Today, the incidence rate is significantly reduced, so it is possible to expand the destinations available for flights by Russian airlines.
To date, restrictions have been lifted for flights to a dozen countries. On Saturday, this list will expand to 52 states. It includes Argentina, South Africa, China, India and other ''friendly'' countries.
From April 9, there won't be any restrictions on the land border with China.
