The magazine "Veterinary and Life" with reference to the operational information of the Rosselkhoznadzor, reported that the General Customs Administration of the PRC (People's Republic of China) agreed to approve import of beef offal that are safe from bovine spongiform encephalopathy.

As a result, Russia will be given the right to supply this category of products to the Chinese market. During the third round of negotiations, which took place in the format of a video conference, the parties once again discussed the possibility of exporting Russian pork from regions free of African swine fever. To do this, Beijing must recognize the principle of regionalization of Russia for ASF. The Main Customs Directorate stopped at taking steps in this direction and will regularly inform Russian colleagues about its actions. So far, the question of exporting pork to China remains open. In addition, the PRC State Technical University has promised to consider the possibility of lifting restrictions associated with lumpy dermatitis and small cattle pox. The lifting of the bans means the opening of a new direction for Russian exports to China - the supply of animals and breeding stock embryos.
