The amount of the duty on the export of wheat and meslin (a mixture of wheat and rye) from the Russian Federation from July 12 to July 18, 2023 inclusive is increased to 2 thousand 989.6 rubles against the current rate of 2 thousand 609.6 rubles per ton, according to materials of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The duty on barley will remain at zero, the duty on corn will be increased to 1,237.4 rubles from 832.7 rubles per ton.

The export duty rate for wheat is calculated on the basis of an indicative price of $239.2 per ton, for barley - $174 per ton, for corn - $198.4 per ton.

The "floating" duty on the export of grain from the Russian Federation is effective from June 2, 2021. The Ministry of Agriculture determines the amount of the duty for a period of one week, based on the indicative price in accordance with the data on contracts concluded on the Moscow Exchange. Until July 1, 2022, duties were calculated in dollars, and then they were converted into rubles.
