In 2021, Russia exported agricultural products at the general sum of 36.036 bln USD, up from 30.5 bln USD in 2020, informed Agroexport Center at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
Particularly, Russia increased export of grain by 10% to 11.092 bln USD, fat-and-oil products by 48% to 7.067 bln USD, products of food and processing industry by 13% to 4.624 bln USD, meat and dairy products by 30% to 1.49 bln USD.
The EU remained the leading importer of Russian agricultural products (13% in the overall structure). It increased import of Russian products by 40% to 4.681 bln USD. Supplies to Turkey (12%) increased by 38% to 4.33 bln USD. The export to China (9.8%) decreased by 13% to 3.549 bln USD.
TOP-10 importers of Russian agricultural products included South Korea (6.9%), Kazakhstan (5.9%), Egypt (5.1%), Belarus (3.9%), Ukraine (2.4%), Uzbekistan (2.2%) and Japan (2%).
Turkey (2.41 bln USD) and Egypt (1.555 bln USD) were the largest buyers of Russian grain in 2021. Turkey (1.293 bln USD) and China (944 mln USD) were the main buyers of fat-and-oil products.
