The Russian Government will increase funding for agro complex to more than 331 billion rubles.

The Russian government will increase funding for the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex in Russia from 2022 to more than 331 billion rubles, said First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, speaking at the Federation Council.

"A large-scale program of support for the agro-industrial complex has been preserved and increased from 2022. Starting this year, it will include a program for the integrated development of rural areas. The program itself will increase - in 2021 it will amount to 288.5 billion rubles, in 2022 - 331.5 billion rubles. ", - he said.

According to Belousov, "approximately the same amount of 330 billion rubles is budgeted to finance the agro complex development program in 2023."
