On May 27 in Paris, within the framework of the 87th General Session of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), were held negotiations between the delegations of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Veterinary Service of Argentina.

During the meeting, veterinary certificates for the supply of Argentine livestock products and animals to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union were discussed. We are talking about breeding cattle, breeding horses, gelatin and bull semen.

At the same time, the Rosselkhoznadzor noted the interest of Russian exporters in the supply of livestock products (lamb, rabbit meat, goat meat, wild meat and honey) to the Argentine Republic and requested veterinary requirements for products imported to Argentina.

The Russian side also recalled a draft veterinary certificate for fish products sent to the Argentine Republic and a list of Russian enterprises interested in exporting such goods. Rosselkhoznadzor expressed interest in speeding up the receipt of comments on these issues.

The Argentine Veterinary Service announced its readiness to send the requested information in the near future.
