The government of the Russian Federation will provide 90 million rubles for the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said. The introduction of innovations, according to the expectations of the prime minister, will serve to create a more accurate structure for monitoring and predicting food security.
In order to make crop forecasts in Russia more accurate, the following actions are planned to be taken this year:
- Implement artificial intelligence technologies. The experiment will be carried out in eight Russian regions on seven main agricultural crops, including sunflower, corn, potatoes, etc.;
– Launch the register of federal property of the agro-industrial complex;
– Digitize records of household books, which currently exist only in paper form.
