All news / Russian meat producers enter the Hong Kong market

In accordance with the agreement between the competent authority of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong SAR PRC) and the Russian state, the list of Russian suppliers of meat products for the Hong Kong SAR has expanded.

To date, 35 Russian companies have received permission to export meat of various types of animals to Hong Kong. These include:

- 4 beef producers;

- 14 pork producers;

- 17 poultry producers.

One of the newly accredited enterprises specializes in the production of beef by-products. This expands the range of Russian meat products available for import to Hong Kong.

The approval for the export of beef by-products is a significant achievement for the Russian meat industry, as this market is characterized by high standards of quality and food safety. Imports of beef by-products from Russia will meet the growing needs of the dynamically developing Hong Kong food market.

In general, the expansion of the list of Russian producers of meat products for the Hong Kong SAR of China indicates growing cooperation between the two countries in the field of food and agriculture. It also demonstrates a high assessment of the quality and safety of Russian meat products at the international level.
