Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has named the main challenges of 2020.He said that they include economic problems and an increase in poverty.
The economy in all its forms, poverty, growing worldwide, he said in an interview for the program on RTVI channel.
Peskov added that the authorities, like ordinary people, are concerned whether the pandemic will recur.
According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the global GDP due to the pandemic will decrease by 4.2 percent in 2020.
The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia expects a decline in the country’s GDP at the level of 3.8 percent, and in 2021 predicts an increase of 3.3 percent in GDP.
