On March 12, a delegation from Japan headed by Hiroshi Miyazaki, the head of JFR Co., Ltd., visited Tatarstan.

At the Palace of Farmers, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolay Titov, met with foreign guests. Representative of T.O World Food Japan, Kodo Nishi, authorized employee of T.O World Food and Okitsumo, Ulas Cedar, as well as the general director of the European division of Calpis’s feed additives Nobomitsu Akai also took part in the business meeting.

Nikolay Titov acquainted the guests with the agro-industrial complex of the republic, drawing attention to the most topical areas for interaction today, including the export of Tatarstan-made products.

During the meeting, Calpis discussed Tatarstan`s implementation of a project to localize high-tech production of fodder prebiotic additives for poultry, completely eliminating the use of antibiotics, creating a joint venture for raising poultry meat of the highest quality and exporting these products, introducing wastewater treatment technology at agricultural enterprises and much another.
