From January to August 2023, the production of main types of livestock products (milk, livestock and poultry for slaughter) increased in the EAEU, reports the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The EEC provides data in comparison with the indicators for the same period last year.
Production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) increased by 2.3 percent:
Armenia - decrease (96 percent of 2022 figures, but information is available only for seven months of this year);
Belarus - growth by 0.2 percent;
Kazakhstan - growth by 4.3 percent;
Kyrgyzstan - growth by 1.3 percent;
Russia - growth by 2.4 percent.
Milk production increased by 3 percent:
Armenia - decrease (94.8 percent of the 2022 indicators, but information is available only for seven months of this year);
Belarus - growth by 5.5 percent;
Kazakhstan - growth by 2.6 percent (data on cow's milk);
Kyrgyzstan - growth by 2.2 percent;
Russia - growth by 2.6 percent.
