The Eurasian Economic Commission Board has set and distributed tariff rate quotas for some meat products and whey for 2022.
The negative production and consumption volume difference is forecasted for 2022 in the countries-EAEU members as follows: beef – 237.4 thousand mt, pork – 34.9 thousand mt, poultry meat – 281.3 thousand mt and whey – 0.5 thousand mt.
For Kazakhstan and Russia, tariff quotas for 2022 are set in the amounts fixed in the WTO joining protocols. For Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, tariff quotas are determined within the limits of the difference between production and consumption, considering the volumes requested by the countries.
