Since the beginning of 2023, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia in the Rostov region has inspected and registered for export 55 batches of meat and meat products with a total weight of 888 tons, which is 6 times more than in the same period last year.

Export of products from the territory of the region was carried out to Georgia, Abkhazia, Liberia, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Benin, Maldives, Kuwait, Jordan and others.

The main types of exported products were finished meat products (21 tons), pork and pork by-products (69 tons) and poultry meat (798 tons).

Products intended for export were recognized as safe in veterinary and sanitary terms and met the requirements of importing countries. Its quality and safety are confirmed by the results of laboratory studies conducted at the Rostov Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor, as well as in other accredited laboratories.

Export is carried out by enterprises that have passed a veterinary and sanitary examination for compliance with the requirements of the importing country and are included in the register of exporters in the Cerberus information system.

The export permit was issued by the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Argus automated system.
