For the first time in two years, a case of rabies among cattle was reported in the Crimea, the press service of the Southern Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor reported.

 

The case of rabies among cattle was identified in the village of Glinki, Saksky district, at a private farm.

By the decree of the head of the republic, a quarantine was introduced on the territory of an infected settlement, during which it is forbidden to sell pets and take animals outside of it in the village. Rosselkhoznadzor press service reports  that the last case of rabies among cattle was recorded in the Bakhchisaray region of Crimea in 2017.
