The parameters of a special program of concessional lending for purchases of imported products important for the economy will be expanded. The resolution to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The solution will allow enterprises to reduce operating costs and arrange the supply of necessary goods.

Now importers will be able to use soft loans not only to purchase materials, components, components, raw materials and equipment, to carry out design and commissioning work, pay value added tax and customs duties, but also to pay for the leasing of equipment necessary for production. In addition, now importers have the opportunity to refinance the loan agreement concluded under the program, as well as conclude an agreement on the assignment of claims.

The Government launched a special program of concessional lending for the purchase of priority imported products in May 2022. With its help, loans became available to importers at a rate of no more than 30% of the key rate of the Central Bank plus three percentage points. The difference is compensated to banks by subsidies from the federal budget. In 2023, 12.4 billion rubles are provided for this, in 2024 - 19.5 billion rubles.
