A large pork producer, LLC “Kashar Bacon”, plans to build a new complex in Kashar district of Rostov region. The complex will cost the company about 1.2 billion rubles. This was reported by the government of the region.

The enterprise should become one of the largest producers of pig meat in the region with a capacity of 5.2 thousand tons of meat per year. Here they want to keep 2.5 thousand heads of sows, and 100 employees will work on it.

According to the founder of Kashirsky Bacon Valery Gomonov, the project is scheduled to start next year, and now a land plot has been acquired and a construction project is being prepared. He also added that it would be an export-oriented green production.

Kashar Bacon LLC was established in the Kashar district of the Rostov Region in May,2019. The company is engaged in pig breeding, production of meat, edible offal, prepared feed, grain and forage crops and several other areas. Its founder and sole owner is Valery Gomonov, who also owns 60 percent of the shares of the Kuban meat producer LLC MTK.
