The group of companies Damate officially announced the launch of a  turkey meat processing plant in the Nizhnelomovsky district of the Penza region. According to updated data, the capacity of the new enterprise is 155 thousand tons of poultry meat per year - it is precisely such productivity that is planned to be achieved by 2020. Today it is the largest turkey processing plant in Europe. The plant was built in a record time - one year and a half. Now it employs two thousand people.

Full automation of production processes from acceptance to shipment, an intelligent quality control system and a packaging line, designed for the simultaneous execution of 37 operations, provide shipment of products to the customer within eight hours. The shelf life of chilled turkey meat reaches 20 days. Investments exceeded 11 billion rubles - these are Damate’s own funds and the credit line of Rosselkhozbank. The total amount invested in the project will be at least 50 billion rubles. Last year, Damate Group produced 88 thousand tons of turkey, this year it plans to increase production to 140,000 tons. The plant will reach its full capacity in 2020.
