In Russia, about 30 million hectares are currently sown with spring crops, winter crops have been fertilized on an area of 16.5 million hectares. Farmers are provided with material and technical resources. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia following the results of the meeting of the operational staff, at which the issues of agricultural production and the course of the sowing campaign were considered.
According to the results of the first quarter of 2022, the dynamics of livestock production and processing in key areas is positive. Poultry, pig farming, cattle, milk and egg production showed growth.
The processing industry has increased the production of buckwheat, pasta, flour and dairy products, including butter, cheese and milk.
