Today, Russian poultry enterprises are operating as planned, their production (including slaughter products) is growing. This is reported by the PRIME news agency with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The agency gave such a response to the information of some media about the shortage of labor in domestic poultry farms. An example was Sinyavinskaya, one of the country's largest producers of edible eggs.

According to them, the company warned retailers about possible supply disruptions and the cancellation of some orders due to a shortage of employees, ranging from a quarter to 30 percent of the staff. The reason for this was allegedly called the outflow of migrants against the background of the weakening of the ruble.

The ministry said that indicators in domestic poultry farming demonstrate steady growth. For example, in January-July of this year, the production of poultry meat increased by 1.3 percent to 3.79 million tons and eggs by 3.5 to 22.25 billion. They also assured that they regularly monitor the provision of enterprises with the necessary personnel and technical resources and ensure the smooth functioning of the industry.
