From February 27 to November 1, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and REC JSC will conduct a selection of applications for compensation of part of the costs of transporting agricultural products, the press service of the department told.

Funds in the amount of 7 billion rubles are provided for the financial support of the mechanism from the federal budget. The compensation is aimed at reducing the costs of organizations during the transportation of products to ensure food security in Russia.

Manufacturers and suppliers of agricultural products, including exporters, will be able to compensate up to 25% of the costs of transporting agricultural products, which were delivered in the III and IV quarters of 2022, as well as in the I and II quarters of 2023.
