Russian farmers have already harvested 78 million tons of grain this year, thereby guaranteeing the country's food security. "Now we are resisting difficulties and pressure, ensuring the sustainable development of the country's agro-industrial complex. As of yesterday, Russian farmers harvested 78 million tons of grain, thus we are already guaranteed food security. As of July 1, 2022, the number of agricultural machinery Russian farmers have is growing" , - he said. The season began in the summer, depending on the weather in certain regions of the country, it may continue until November, TASS was told in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Nekrasov added that, despite the difficulties and limitations, the equipment is being updated, which is in the hands of domestic agricultural producers.
"There are deviations in a number of territories, but in general, if you look at the situation globally, then we have more than 50% of combine harvesters under 10 years old, this equipment has not yet exhausted its resource and is capable of producing results," he summed up.
The 9th Open Championship of Russia in plowing is held simultaneously with the regional exhibition-fair "Agrarian Week of the Leningrad Region" from August 7 to 14, 2022 on the territory of JSC "Prinevskoye Breeding Plant" (Leningrad region, Vsevolozhsk district, Sverdlov village) . The championship is attended by 60 machine operators from 40 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
