Genesus has published another list of the 50 largest global pig companies. Russia is represented by three companies: Miratorg (17th place), Rusagro (38th place) and Sibagro (41st place).
24 of the top 50 pork producers are Chinese companies. The list also includes 12 companies from the US, 4 from Brazil, 3 from Spain and 2 from Thailand. In total, the companies from the rating own almost 16.5 million sows - 635 thousand more than a year earlier.
