In July, the largest poultry herd was registered in the Belgorod region - 48.146 thousand heads. The second place got the Leningrad region - 30.303 thousand heads? on the third place - the Chelyabinsk region with 22.138 thousand heads.

The other seven regions that made the ranking are:
• Stavropol Territory - 20.993 thousand heads;
• Republic of Mordovia - 18,095 thousand heads;
• Tambov region - 16,002 thousand heads;
• Bryansk region - 14.530 thousand heads;
• Republic of Tatarstan - 13.913 thousand heads;
• Penza region - 13.386 thousand heads;
• Sverdlovsk Region - 13.045 thousand heads.
At the same time, the highest growth rates of the poultry herd were recorded in the Trans-Baikal Territory – up 112% compared to previous year (38.4 thousand heads), Primorsky Territory – up 57% (1660.5 thousand heads) and the Republic of Adygea - up 56% (637.3 thousand heads).
The other seven subjects that made it to the ranking are:
• Republic of Ingushetia – 48% up (5.0 thousand heads);
• Oryol region - 30% up (1,730.7 thousand heads);
• Rostov region - 20% up (6087.4 thousand heads);
• Ulyanovsk region - 19% up (467.5 thousand heads);
• Tyumen region - 15% up (10,588.6 thousand heads);
• Republic of Buryatia - 15% up (338.5 thousand heads);
• Stavropol Territory - 12% up (20993.5 thousand heads).
