"Mutual trade in agro-industrial products is increasing. The Agroexport Center estimates the potential for supplies of Russian agricultural products to China at $6-10 billion a year. The most demanded product in the Chinese market will primarily be fish and seafood. In 2021, the Russian Federation supplied almost $480 million worth of frozen fish to China against $1.2 billion in 2020. For seven months of this year, exports amounted to $432.5 million.

There is also growth potential in the supply of grain crops, meat products and vegetable oils.
