Chinese authorities have announced the lifting of the ban on Ukrainian poultry imports starting December 24 of the current year.
In 2017, China had suspended the imports of poultry from Ukraine due to outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) in this country.
The press service of the Ukrainian trade mission in China reported that the imports of Ukrainian poultry and poultry products in China that meet the Asian country's inspection and quarantine requirements will be resumed following the date of publication of the announcement.
According to UNIAN, in June, Ukraine and China signed a memorandum of cooperation and the promotion of mutual trade in poultry meat.
