Ukraine will increase the supply of agricultural products to China, as well as expand its range. On July 23, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“In the near future, Ukraine will increase the supply of agricultural products to China, increasing the list of supplied goods. We are also negotiating the construction of facilities in Ukraine for the primary processing of agricultural products for supplies to the PRC, ”the minister wrote.
R. Leshchenko also announced plans to make a visit to China in the near future to discuss the expansion of strategic partnership.
He added that in general, the export of Ukrainian agricultural products to China has tripled since 2018 – from $ 1.1 billion to $ 3.5 billion. In addition, last year, China bought 10% of all imported products from Ukraine.
“It is critically important for Ukraine to establish international cooperation in the agricultural sector at the level of the top officials of the relevant ministries of our countries,” the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy emphasized.
