All news / Ukraine's poultry exports increased by 15% in January-September

Ukraine has reported an increase of 15% in its exports of poultry meat between January and September 2018 compared to year-earlier levels, reaching 243.7 thousand tons, UNN reports.

In terms of value, the exports stood at $381.1 million in the mentioned period.

Ukraine's main importer of poultry meat is the Netherlands, shipments to this country reaching 89.7$ million in the first nine months of the year.

Slovakia and Iraq were the second and third largest importers of Ukrainian poultry meat, with export values to these countries reaching $47.5 million and $32.4 million, respectively, in the first nine months of 2018.

Meantime, Ukraine's imports of poultry meat in the first nine months reached 99.1 thousand tons.

UNN reported earlier that Ukraine has entered the top ten poultry suppliers worldwide and occupies the third spot in Europe.
