The Ministry of Agriculture of the Ulyanovsk region has compiled a rating of farms in the region in terms of the number of cattle and milk production. The leader was KFH Vozrozhdenie LLC, which contains 4,000 heads of cattle, including 1,920 cows, writes The DairyNews, citing a message from the department on social networks.

In addition, in the first half of the year, KFH Vozrozhdenie LLC received 10 thousand tons of milk.

In second place is OOO Megafarma Oktyabrsky. There, the livestock is 3315 heads, including 1353 cows. In terms of milk production, the second place was taken by Agro-Neptun LLC, where 7.2 thousand tons were milked in six months.

In third place is Agro-Gulyushevo LLC, with 2,765 cattle, including 1,299 cows. At the same time, the enterprise also took third place in milk production. For six months, the figure amounted to 6 thousand tons.

An increase in the productivity of the dairy herd was also noted. In the first half of the year, one cow produced an average of 3,167 kilograms of milk, which is 4.3% more than in the first six months of 2021.
